Watch the ads in the video above. Old Spice claims its hair “gets results,” but hair that can pick up a girl by crawling across a boardroom table or pull an actual human baby out of an arcade crane game is unbelievable and over the top. Of course, it’s exactly what we’ve come to expect from Old Spice before we hear that signature whistle. Most people can’t think of Old Spice without thinking of Isaiah Mustafa, and he’s back.

Bye bye baldness? Researchers regrow hair using Argan Oil skin cells

These products do in fact work wonders, but since both run at around $25 per bottle at Sephora, no one can blame you for looking elsewhere. So heres a list of the best products for those of us who love our hairjust not more than we love having money for food and a place to live. Pantene Pro-V Curly Hair Series, Shampoo and Conditioner ($4.99 each) Theres a reason this line can be found in nearly every drugstore: its cheap and most importantly, it works. Pantene gives you results comparable to those of much pricier brands, but for about one fourth the cost. Not Your Mothers Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream ($5.99) Not Your Mothers products have been showing up more and more at drugstores lately, and its not hard to see why. The brand also makes a frizz control specific cream, which can be used in tandem with the curl cream for extra-special sleek and shiny ringlets. This one is best for putting the finishing touches on your curls, or if you need a quick refresher throughout the day. TRESemme Flawless Curls Shampoo and Conditioner ($3.98 each) TRESemme deserves special mention as the cheapest curly hair product on this list. Its also worth noting that their shampoo and conditioner containers are impressively large and long-lasting. But if the above options still dont satisfy, its important to keep in mind that often the best curly hair product is simply water.

STRENGTH OF NATURE AIMS TO REVOLUTIONIZE HAIR CARE WITH THE REVERSIBLE™ STRAIGHTENING TEXTURE MANAGEABILITY™ SYSTEM

The study was published Jan. 28 in Nature Communications . The researchers began by using a type of skin cell known as dermal fibroblasts. They added three genes in order to transform them into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). These stem cells have the ability to transform into other cells found throughout the body. Specifically, the iPSCs in this study were made into epithelial cells, which make up connective, muscle and nerve tissue. These cells are normally found at the bulb-like ends of hair follicles. The team was able to accomplish this by controlling the cells’ growth time, and were able to turn 25 percent of the iPSCs into epithelial stem cells in about 18 days. The epithelial stem cells were then mixed with mice hair follicle skin cells. They were then transplanted onto mice who had their immune systems suppressed.

Used in hair products such as styling gels to provide even distribution and quick drying upon contact, and to leave little to no residue and provide maximum hold. This is the most commonly used alcohol in hair products and can cause the hair cuticle to become rough, due to the quick evaporation of water. Therefore, this is the alcohol that some people avoid using in hair care products.
