In the quarter ended Nov. 1, Ulta’s third quarter of fiscal 2014, its “ULTAmate Rewards” loyalty program grew 16.1% from a year earlier to 14.5 million active members. About 80% of the company’s total sales comes from loyalty members, says Settersten. Ulta enjoyed a strong third quarter overall.
